1. Storage environment requirements
Dry and ventilated: stored on shelves or wooden frames, away from the ground (height ≥ 20cm), to avoid moisture causing fiber mold;
Temperature control: ambient temperature -10 ℃~35 ℃, keep away from heat sources such as radiators and boilers to prevent fiber softening.
2. Classification and identification
Store according to material (polyester, nylon, etc.), diameter, and load classification, hang labels indicating purchase date, inspection status, and next maintenance time;
The rope that has been idle for a long time should be flipped once every quarter to avoid local compression deformation, and the appearance should be rechecked.
6、 Precautions for safe operation
Do not mix materials: Different fibers (such as nylon and polyester) have different elastic moduli, which may cause uneven stress and accidents when mixed;
Training and Record keeping: Operators need to be familiar with the load calculation, tying method, and inspection points of the multifilament rope, and establish a "multifilament rope usage file" to record the content and maintenance of each operation.
Summary: Composite wire rope is an important supplement to steel wire rope in construction due to its lightweight, flexible, and corrosion-resistant characteristics. But its strength is lower than that of metal ropes, and it is necessary to strictly follow the principles of "light load, wear resistance, heat avoidance, and frequent inspection", and ensure construction safety and efficiency through standardized use and fine maintenance.
